Mercedes-Benz Museum

The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart presents more than 160 vehicles of all kinds - from some of the oldest automobiles in history to legendary racing cars and research vehicles - and over 1,500 exhibits. These include the legendary “Silver Arrows”, the “Papamobile” of Pope John Paul II and the cars of the German Kaiser Wilhelm II and Hirohito, the Tenno of the Japanese Empire. An elevator takes visitors to the top of nine levels - and back to the year 1886, where one of the museum's highlights can be found: the Benz Patent Motor Car Number 1, the first automobile with an internal combustion engine built by Carl Benz. Experience the extensive collection on two tours. The first tour tells the story of the brand in seven “myth rooms”. The second tour organizes the wealth of vehicles in five “collection rooms”.

The Porsche Museum

The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart is one of the most popular automobile museums in the world. It houses a wide range of Porsche vehicles, from tractors to the first electric car. The museum now presents around 80 iconic Porsche vehicles in its permanent exhibition. Vehicles from Porsche's racing history can be experienced as well as exciting prototypes and a large number of production vehicles, for example the entire 911 family. In addition to the exhibits, the Porsche Museum also houses a workshop for historic vehicles. Visitors can watch the experts repairing classic cars through a pane of glass.

BMW Welt and BMW Museum

Learn all about the BMW brand from its beginnings to the present day at the BMW Museum in Munich. Each exhibition room presents a variety of different focal points - the vehicles, design concepts or prototypes. There are also exciting temporary exhibitions on various topics. You can also visit the impressive permanent exhibition with milestones from 100 years of BMW Group history. Directly opposite the BMW Museum, BMW Welt awaits visitors. Volkswagen AutoMuseum

The impressive history of VW can be traced at the Volkswagen AutoMuseum in Wolfsburg. Over 130 vehicles are on display on 5,000 square meters of exhibition space - such as the original Beetle, the VW Bulli, the Golf GTI, all types of VW classic cars - pure technical history. You will experience the affordable Beetle, which revolutionized the market as the “people's car” and of which VW sold over 20 million vehicles with a relatively uniform design. See the Camper or Volkswagen Bus, a symbol of the free-spirited hippie movement, which became popular in the 1960s as a camper van among music fans who traveled to Woodstock in 1969 and then toured the country in it. Racing cars, prototypes, design studies and one-offs from the car brand are also on display. There are also vehicles that were used for special purposes, such as by the German Federal Post Office, the police or the fire department.
