You will visit Schloss Charlottenburg built by the Prussian Kings, you’ll see the Victory Column and stroll through Tiergarten, Berlins Central Park. The program includes among other things the Reichstag, seat of the German Parliament and one of Berlin’s most famous landmarks, the Brandenburg Gate, symbol of German unity and the finest example of German classicism, and Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin’s most beautiful square with the German and French Dome and the Konzerthaus (concert hall). You will also visit Bebelplatz, a public square which was the site of the notorious Nazi book burning in 1933, and Checkpoint Charlie, the best-known border crossing and a favorite film setting for spy movies. Berlin sightseeing two days - day 2

On your 2nd day the tour program includes must-sees as the famous Museum-Island (outside), a unique ensemble of five museums on the Spree Island, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Alexanderplatz, the lively central square and traffic junction in Berlin’s Mitte district and the site of many attractions and sights in Berlin, and the Berlin Wall Memorial which is the central memorial site of German division, located in the middle of the capital. Situated at the historic site on Bernauer Strasse, it extends along 1.4 kilometers of the former border strip. You will also visit the Bornholm Bridge, an important site in Berlin’s history: As a result of the policy of Mikhail Gorbachev, the torpor of senile GDR government and a big mess within the political apparatus in East Berlin, several thousand GDR citizens stood on the evening of November 9th, 1989 in front of the border crossing at Bornholmer street. An overwhelmed officer had to decide and left the turnpike open. Follow the traces of the protesting citizens and let these incredible events come to life again. And don’t miss the East Side Gallery, a former section of the Berlin Wall, which artists have turned into the largest open-air gallery in the world.

Berlin street art & graffiti workshop

Berlin is a magnet for international street artists. The most famous example of this is the listed Berlin East Side Gallery, a 1.3 km long remnant of the Berlin Wall, which was painted by artists from all over the world after reunification and is one of the city's most important sights. Some of the most famous paintings, such as “The Brotherly Kiss” by Dimitrji Vrubel or Birgit Kinder's Trabant breaking through the Wall, are still popular postcard motifs today. Explore with a private guide during a personalized tour the stylistically varied paintings and messages: surreal images alternate with political statements and graffiti. As you stroll along this open-air gallery, your guide will also share fascinating insights into the history of the Wall, its construction, and the courageous stories of those who risked everything to escape. After immersing yourself in the poignant history of the area, your tour will end with an engaging Graffiti-Streetart Workshop. Enjoy an unforgettable day of art, history, and creativity in the heart of Berlin!

Full day excursion to Potsdam

Potsdam was the former residence city of the Prussian Kings and is well known for its rich historic heritage. Its numerous and unique castles, palaces and parks became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1990, being the largest ensemble of all German UNESCO sites. You will see Sanssouci Palace, one of the most famous castles of the Hohenzollern family, which was built by the Prussian King Frederick II in a pure Rococo design, and the New Palace, the largest castle of Potsdam, built in the so-called Prussian Baroque style housing 200 rooms, 4 ballrooms and 1 theatre - only for representative purposes. Besides the castle, there are many other cultural sights as the Russian colony Alexandrowka, the Dutch Quarter or the Alter Markt (Old Market), and the old town hall, as well as the historic centre of Potsdam. Visit the important “Spy-Bridge”, and the impressive Cecilienhof Palace, also known as the house of the Wannsee Conference. Cecilienhof Palace, built in the style of a country manor, was the last palace erected by the Hohenzollern dynasty. From July 17 to August 2, 1945, the summit meeting of World War II’s victorious powers took place here. The Potsdam Conference was one of the most important historical events of the 20th century. It is seen around the world as a symbol of the end of World War II and the beginning of the Cold War, which led to the division of Europe and the erection of the Berlin Wall.
