Day 1 - Munich

Your journey begins with a private transfer from Munich Airport to Rosewood Munich, where you’ll arrive at Bar Montez to enjoy a welcome cocktail and toast the beginning of the week. Rosewood Munich is an elegant retreat located in the historic heart of the Bavarian capital. Just a few steps from Marienplatz, the hotel is housed in two beautifully restored landmark buildings. Day 2 - Munich

Venture off the beaten path and experience the authentic side of the Bavarian capital with a romantic stroll of the city. Explore charming neighborhoods like Schwabing or Glockenbachviertel, as well as an abundance of quaint cafes and boutique shops, alongside vibrant street art. At Nymphenburg Palace, one of the largest palaces in Germany and the birthplace of King Ludwig II, the builder of famous Neuschwanstein Castle, you will take a gondola ride in the canals of Nyphemburg Palace, a favorite pastime for royals in Munich since the arrival of Venetian gondoliers in the 17th century. Day 3 - From Munich to Salzburg

Before embarking on our journey from Munich to Rosewood Schloss Fuschl you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourselves in the indulgent world of Bavarian confectionery. You’ll attend a workshop making Gingerbread-hearts, known as Lebkuchenherzen, the classic romantic treats that appear at the country’s Oktoberfest and Christmas markets. Afterwards you’ll experience the grandeur of a Bavarian castle at the picturesque Herrenchiemsee Palace. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Bavarian Versailles’, the property dates back to the late 1800s and sits on an island overlooking the postcard-worthy Lake Chiemsee. Spend an idyllic afternoon exploring the grounds before departing to Rosewood Schloss Fuschl.

Day 4 - Salzburg

After breakfast, begin your tour at Mirabell Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Baroque architecture and romantic gardens. Continue to Salzburg Old Town to explore the maze of narrow streets and alleys before taking a romantic ride on the funicular up to Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of the largest and best-preserved medieval castles in Europe, with panoramic views of the city and its surrounding mountains. You will then step into the rarefied world of the von Trapps with a guided tour of the iconic filming locations from The Sound of Music, such as the Leopoldskron Palace and Mondsee Cathedral.

Day 5 - Salzburg

Spend the morning until early afternoon in Rosewood Schloss Fuschl at your leisure. The property is surrounded by mountains and forests, its architecture resembling a fairytale castle. Day 6 - From Salzburg to Vienna

Begin the journey from Salzburg to Vienna via a stop in Gmunden and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the Austrian countryside along the way. Gmunden, situated on the shores of Lake Traunsee is known for its stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage. Enjoy a guided tour of the Gmundner Keramik Manufaktur (Gmundner Pottery Factory) where you’ll learn about the meticulous craftsmanship, rich history, and unique characteristics of Austrian tableware. Try your hand at painting your own piece of porcelain with the help of artisans, creating your own keepsake to take home. You will reach Vienna and check in at Rosewood Vienna. The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored, historic 19th-century building and ideally situated on Petersplatz, one of the most famous squares in Vienna’s Old Town, offering stylish and residentially styled accommodations that merge past and present through a thoughtful combination of elegant textural and artistic elements and the latest technological features.

Day 7 - Vienna

Today, you will immerse yourself in Vienna’s heritage with a bespoke tour of the city’s iconic landmarks on a fiaker horse-drawn carriage ride through the city. Visit the opulent Schönbrunn Palace, admire the architecture of St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the grandeur of the Hofburg Palace, or see the magnificent Vienna State Opera. Learn the fundamental steps of the Viennese Waltz under the guidance of experienced and patient instructors. The class begins with an introduction to the history and traditions of the dance before moving on to techniques, in a supportive environment suited to both complete beginners and seasoned dancers. End the day with a classic cocktail at Neue Hoheit Bar at Rosewood Vienna, enjoying the darkly lit interiors or sweeping views of the city from the outdoor terrace. The next day after breakfast a private transfer from Rosewood Vienna will take you to Vienna Airport.
